I'm a computer consultant specializing in helping small businesses, professionals, non-profits, and individuals, accomplish their computing goals. I can best be described as a management information specialist (MIS) on a time-share basis.

If you want to do serious computing, however small your budget, you shouldn't put up with off-the-shelf configurations and setups designed more for marketing reasons than for your computing needs. Whether you have a simple word processor on an old 286, or Windows 95/98 on the fastest Pentium in town, I, or one of my associates can help.

I can help you find the appropriate hardware and software, connect you to networks, the internet, and arrange access to the various services your business or pleasure requires. The best solution is rarely the most expensive solution. Since I work for you, and bill you directly, my recommendations are not clouded by thoughts of commissions.

You buy your hardware from whomever you like (even through me if you want).

I also do first-time setups for new businesses and for individuals who have not used computers before. I train you, but more importantly I train you to train yourself by showing you how to approach computing problems, what questions to ask, and how to turn a machine's dumb obedience to your advantage.

Invisible Software, one of the great peer-to-peer networking systems is, alas, no more. It lasted 13 years, and is likely to be around another 13 years since it allows users to cross platforms (Windows 95 Windows 3.X DOS). It's simple and it's effective. If you have Invisible and want to continue with it, I have all the appropriate software (and permission to use it) and the knowledge required. I've been using Invisible for a number of clients for over ten years. I will continue to service the product for my clients and anyone else in the San Francisco Bay Area for an existing system.
